Prior to establishing von Tress and Associates Gloria accumulated over 18 years of experience in the wine industry. She has held the position of Controller at Iron Horse Vineyards, where her financial and reporting responsibilities included both the vineyard and winery operations. Gloria has handled the complexities of foreign partnerships, and all aspects of winery accounting and tax reporting. Prior to working for the Sterling family she was employed by a limited partnership focused on buying and developing wineries for outside investors, each acquisition involved multiple license transfers and complex business structures.
Gloria's favorite part of the wine business is the agricultural cycles, which determine the flow of business. "I love that the seasonal excitement of winery life from bud break to crush is always dependent on mother nature. Later when the wine is ready to market - we're still here to help every step of the way"
